CONFIDENCEWORLD
was the brainchild of Peak Performance Consultant Sean McPheat.
Here is an interview with Sean McPheat
to see how the idea was first thought up and his plans for the future.
Q - So Sean,
how did the idea of Confidenceworld come about?
"Well I suppose I have always
had a vested interest in confidence building ever since I started
to lose my hair as a teenager. It got to the stage where I wouldn't
even go out of the house without a baseball cap on - so I think
the seeds of Confidenceworld were sown there. I had to learn how
to build up my confidence from scratch so you could say I started
at the bottom!
When I started my first personal development company Being A Success,
I was being inundated with queries and requests for confidence and
self esteem building so I said to myself "Wouldn't it be great
if there was a resource with everything you need to know about confidence
building all under one roof!".
Q - How long did
it take to set up?
"All in all, from my initial
idea until we first launched it took just 2 months. We worked around
the clock, seven days a week to write all of the content, develop
our ideas and set the website up. Not bad hey?"
Q - So what are
your goals for Confidenceworld?
"I would like to achieve 1 million
subscribers worldwide by 2010. I say 1 million because that would
mean that we would have played a significant role in increasing
self-esteem levels around the globe. It's not just the 1 million
people that benefit you know. It's all of the people around them,
who they influence and talk to and the companies that they work
for.
I am forever going on about providing value for money and with regards
to this I am committed to regularly updating the site with the leading
edge in confidence and self-esteem building tools on the market
- and all this for no additional cost to the subscription. When
I say a one off lifetime membership fee, I mean it."
Q - So what
about the future of Confidenceworld, any insights?
"Well, I would ideally love everyone
to be talking about our site and how good it is. I take massive
pride in my work and I know it is a success when people make referrals
and talk about it.
I will give my commitment to making it as user friendly and content
rich as I possibly can. I will not be able to do this however without
the help of my subscribers. So their opinions, feedback and suggestions
will drive the company forward as well as my passion for making
the site the best it can be."
